Join MY Preservation for the Rust Belt Takeover of Detroit October 20 - 22nd. While it is impossible to experience all that the Motor City has to offer in a weekend you'll surely experience some of its greatest assets with several exciting tours, local eats & drinks, entertainment, and more. Get an exclusive sneak peek into one of the largest redevelopment projects happening right now at the Packard Plant and tour Eastern Market, which is the largest historic public market district in the United States. Experience Frederick Law Olmsted designed Belle Isle Park first hand or step back in time touring Historic Fort Wayne which dates back to the 1840s. The weekend will wrap up with a tour of the Ford Piquette Plant, which is the oldest automotive factory building in the world open to the general public and is where the Model T was born. Detroit's historic neighborhoods, stunning architecture, and innovative young preservationists working tirelessly to honor the rich history of the city will surely leave you inspired and wanting to come back for more. Registration will open up in early September, with a full event itinerary. For more info please contact Lindsey Dotson (email@example.com) or Joe Frost (firstname.lastname@example.org).
